Mr. Iva Gene Lee, 60, of Baltimore, Maryland, formerly of Crossett died Monday, April 26, 1999, at the Churchill Hospital in Baltimore, A native of Dermott, he was a carpenter and a member of the Jarvis Chapel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Jude Lee. Survivors are his wife, Patricia Lee of Baltimore; two sons, Christopher Gene and Joey Lee of Amelia, LA; a daughter, Addie Marie Lee of Amelia; his mother, Alma Lee of Crossett; and a sister, Dorothy Lee of Crossett. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Friday, April 30, in the Second Baptist Church with Revs. Travis Roberts and Dan Webb officiating. Pallbearers were Thomas Childress, Lexie Courson, Lonnie Sharpe, Charles Noble, Harold Pennington and John Surratt. Burial followed services at the Carlock Cemetery, directed by Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg.
