Edward Warner, 72, of Crossett died Friday, November 7,. 2003, at the Ashley County Medical Center. Born June 13, 1931, in Stuttgart to Hershell and Susie Shipley Warner, he was a pipefitter in the construction industry. Survivors are three sons, Ralph Edward Warner and wife Debbie of Grapevine, David Wayne Warner of Crossett and Michael Eugene Warner and wife Joy of Cleveland, AR; one daughter, Karen Sue Carter and husband Mike of Crossett; his stepfather, Raymond Dennis of Pine Bluff; one sister, Glenda Sue Dennis of Pine Bluff; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; one niece, Katie Brown of Crossett; and many nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Hershell Warner; his mother, Susie "Sue" Dennis; and two sisters, Viola Purvis and Frances Meeks. Grave-side services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 8, at the Carlock Cemetery with Bro. Roy Craig officiating. Arrangements were by Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.
