Mr. Arley Dewayne Gray, 50, of Monroe, LA, died Friday, April 30, 1999, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. Born September 16, 1948, in Monroe to Arley and Frances Norrell Gray, he retired after 23 years with General Motors and was a Baptist. Survivors are a daughter, Kim Mathus of West Monroe, LA; his mother, Frances Gray of Monroe; a brother, Garry Gray and wife Cheryl of Dublin, GA; a sister, Nancy Tompkins and husband Joe of West Monroe; two grandchildren, Kyle and Katie Mathus of West Monroe; a niece, Amy Anderson and husband Clint and daughter Katherine of Dublin, GA; and a nephew, Kevin Tompkins of West Monroe. Grave-side services were at 2 p.m. Monday, May 3, at the Carlock Cemetery. Arrangements were by Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.
