Charles Berry Garrett,78, of Lowell, died Wednesday, Aug. 12, at his home.
He was born March 13, 1914, at Houston, to Charles Garrett and Ollie Mae Berry Garrett. He moved to this area 27 years ago from Dallas.
Survivors are his wife, Ruth Garrett of the home; a son, Howard Garrett of Pine Bluff; a stepson, Albert Edward Neumeyer of San Diego; two daughters, Charlene Key of Dallas and Pamela Phillips of Springdale; two stepdaughters, Sue Ann Neumeyer of Fort Worth, Texas, and Edwina Ruth Haas of Philadelphia; three brothers, Cecil Garrett of Maybank, Texas, Neil Garrett of Dallas and Clint Garrett of California; four sisters, Gladys Cole of Weddington, Kathleen Hood and Grace Lockhart, both of Longview, Texas, and Doris Garrett of California; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside service and burial is set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Ruddick Cemetery, Garfield, with the Rev. Rick McCall officiating. Visitation is set for 4-6 p.m. today at Rollins Funeral Home, Rogers.
