William Evans, who died recently at the home of his son, R.C. Evans on Pea Ridge, was 80 years old and had lived in Benton county for more than seventy years. He was an ex-Confederate soldier. He is survived by four children, Robert C. Evans and Mrs. J.B. Blevins of Pea Ridge; Mrs. Albert Patterson of Trinidad, Colo. and Mrs. Dona Hall of Wichita, Kan. Mrs. Evans died three months ago.

(from Pea Ridge) Mrs. W.L. Evans died last Thursday and was buried Friday at the Hickman cemetery. She had been in bad health for quite a while. Mr. Evans is also in very bad health. His mind is almost entirely gone.
