Henry Etta Carter, 78, of Gurdon, died Sunday, November 28, 1993. She was a member of the Beech Street Baptist Church and a retired sales clerk for Thomerson's Drug Store. Survivors include her husband, Ernest Carter; a son, W. G. Carter of Texarkana, Ark., and two grandchildren, Gary and Lisa. Services were held today, Monday, November 29, at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel in Gurdon with Rev. James Gutherie officiating. Interment was in Brown Cemetery near Beirne under the direction of Horne Funeral Service. Pallbearers were Tuck Hisaw, Charles Shaver, Larry Thomerson, Paul Shaver, Billy McClatchy and Dickie Richard
