Charles Harold Hall, son of the late Seth Arvil Hall and Virgie Foster Hall, was born May 27, 1939 in Lone Rock, Arkansas. He departed this life October 26, 2011 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 72 years, 4 months and 30 days. In 1964 he was united in marriage to Sarah Coggins in Cotter, Arkansas. He was a lifelong resident of Arkansas. He spent his life as a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Before becoming disabled, he was employed by the Baxter County Road Department.

He is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law: Donna Knight of Fayetteville, Connie and Jim Bob Ellis of Ft. Smith and Loretta and Lenn Branscum of Dolph; one son: Larry Gifford of Scotland; three brothers: Ray Hall of Calico Rock, Loren Hall of Missouri and Vedrun Hall of Norfork; one sister: Wilma Wyatt of Calico Rock; eight grandchildren: Jeremy Gifford, Jason Ellis, Jessica Lowder, Sara Bledsoe, Sherry Phillips, Sally Cassell, Kevin Branscum and Heath Branscum; and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral service will be Saturday, October 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Calico Rock Funeral Chapel with Wayne Wood officiating. Burial will be at Galatia Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock. Visitation will be Friday, October 28 from 6-8 p.m.
