Ronald Vance Bales Sr the husband of Frances Ada (Rogers) Bales. The son of Duane Borden Bales and Jessie Mae (Healey) Bales.

Ronald Vance Bales Sr., 71, of Paragould, passed away Friday, September 16, 2011, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. Born in Sedgwick, Arkansas.

He was a retired director and paramedic for EMS, he served in the United States Air Force from 1958 to 1962, He loved the outdoors, working in the garden and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Duane B. Bales and Jessie M. Bales; one son, Ronald Vance Jr. and one brother, Warren Bales.

Survivors include his loving wife Frances Ada (Rogers) Bales; two sons, Warren and Quentin Bales of Paragould; three brothers, Steve Bales of Jonesboro, Kelly Bales of Paragould, and Kevin Bales also of Paragould; six grandchildren, Michelle Stallings, Christine Bales, Mallorye Wesley, Blake Bales, Kelly Bales, and Casey Bales; and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 20th from 10am -12pm at Phillips Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, September 20th at 1pm at the Old Military Cemetery at Sedgwick Arkansas, with Charles Stoddard officiating.

Pallbearers will include: Quentin Bales, Warren Bales, Steve Bales, Blake Bales, Bill Young, Matt Wesley and Honorary - Dale Barrett.
