April 14, 1882 - August 14, 1961
Fordyce, Aug. 18 - Homer Oscar Marcum, aged 79 of Fordyce, a retired employe of the Fordyce Lumber Company died Monday at a hospital here. He was a Presbyterian. Survivors include his wife, four sons: Fay Marcum of Camden, Ray Marcum and David Marcum, both of Fordyce and James Marcum of Hooks, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. George Fultz of Camden; two brothers, A. L. Marcum of Pine Bluff and E. H. Marcum of Hickory Ridge, and six grandchildren. Funeral arrangements were by Benton Funeral Service of Fordyce. (Camden News - August 18, 1961)
