WASHBURN, Mo. — On May 26, 2011, Billy Breeden went home to the Lord. He passed away out West, where he had taken his wife to celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary.

He was a Christian and attended Mount Zion Baptist Church in Washburn, Mo. He was a truck driver. He worked for Tyson Foods for over 30 years. He was born May 30, 1950, to Ted and Mable Breeden in Siloam Springs, Ark.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Zachary; a brother, Gene; and a sister, Shirley.

He is survived by his wife. Billie; a sister, Vickie and her husband, Rick; three sons, Billy Jr. and his wife, Lisa, of Florida, Teddy of Rogers, Dan and Rhonda of Seligman, Mo.; grandchildren, Kyle and Malerie, and soon-to-be-born, a grandson; Kyle's mother, Shawnda Briggs; Samantha and Stacie, their mother, Amanda, Matthew, Jessie and Daniel Jr.; brothers, Jackie and Donna, Johnny and Jane, and David; sisters, Sharon and husband Robert Elliot, Brenda and husband Loyd McCallister, Virginia and Rod; brothers-in-law, Gene, Mike and Rose To11y; sisters-in-law, Terry Smith and husband Robert, Sonya Breeden; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 2, from 5 to 6 p.m. at Benton County Funeral Home in downtown Rogers.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 3, 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with burial following at Bayless Cemetery in Gateway, Ark. Everyone is invited for lunch at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Washburn, Mo., after the services. - Paid
