BRAITHWAIT, Francis T. - It is with sorrow we chronicle the death of Miss Francis T. Braithwait, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Braithwait who live two miles north of town, the sad event occurring Tuesday, Sept. 1st, 1891 after a short illness. The deceased was an accomplished young lady sixteen years old, just budding into womanhood and loved and respected by a host of friends. Funeral services were held at the cemetery Wednesday, Rev. Peter Carnahan officiating, after which the remains were interred in the Hickman cemetery on Pea Ridge. The Sun and many friends sympathize with the bereaved parents in this hour of sorrow.
