Woodrow Richardson, 55, of Little Rock died Tuesday in a nursing home following a lengthy illness. Born in Union County, Aug. 16, 1914, he was the son of Mose and Lula Williams Richardson. He was a member of Sweet Canaan Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his parents, two daughters, Mrs. Lessie B. James, Milwaukee, Wis., and Mrs. Catherine Thomas, Detroit, Mich.; a brother, A. B. Richardson, Mt. Holly; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Sweet Canaan Baptist Church, Smackover, with the Rev. P. G. Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Sweet Canaan Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary. (El Dorado Times - March 28, 1970)
