1921 - 1999
Johnny Mae Caldwell, 78, of Little Rock died Monday, May 24, 1999, at her home. She was employed by the Little Rock Housing Authority and retired from the Baptist Medical System. She was an active member of the St. Andrew United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and the Emmaus Community. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Alma Tackett; two brothers, Eldon and Jim Tackett; and her husband, John Caldwell, III. Survivors are three sons and daughters-in-law, Ken and Joan Brown of Kenner, LA, Steve and Donna Brown of Little Rock and John and Dianna Caldwell of Magnolia; a brother and sister-in-law, Marvin and Sue Tackett of Eudora; nine grandchildren, three great-granddaughters and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 27, in the St. Andrew United Methodist Church with Bro. Larry Ott officiating. A grave-side service followed at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Parkdale Cemetery with arrangements by Roller-Ballard Funeral Home of Benton. Memorials may be made to the St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 4600 Baseline, Little Rock, AR.
