Obituary from Roller-Crouch/McGee Funeral Home Website:

Frances Wandalee Mann Williams, 83, of Ash Flat, formerly of Joiner died on August 1, 2007 in Cave City.

She was born on July 4, 1924 at Lafe, Arkansas and was the daughter of Jonathan Riley and Sarah Either Mann.

At the time of her death, she was a member of the First Baptist Church at Hardy but was a charter member of the Joiner Baptist Church where she was extremely active in the programs of the church for forty-five years. Wanda married Thomas W. “Tooter” Williams on October 18, 1941 at Vincent Baptist Church near Marmaduke. Even though she married prior to completing high school, education was very important to her and she was able to complete the requirements and receive her high school diploma from Shawnee High School in 1965 in Joiner after three of her children had already graduated from there. Then a few years later, her other two children also graduated from Shawnee High School.

She worked at the American Greetings Corporation in Osceola for 27 years and then retired to Ash Flat where she remained active in church as long as her health allowed.

Wanda is survived by three sons and their spouses: Thomas E. and Mary Williams of Cave City; Dickie and Brenda Williams of Ashdown; Ken “Cotton” and Marie Williams of Ash Flat; two daughters and their spouses: Fran and Bill McAnally of West Memphis and Carolyn and Mickey McFatridge of Cherokee Village. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Pallbearers are Mike Stevens, Joe McLemore, Bruce Davis, Mike Taylor, Jason Barnett and Norman McAnally.

Funeral services are at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Roller-Crouch-McGee Funeral Home Chapel with Brother John Griffin and Brother Larry Strope officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Burial will follow the service at the Fairview Cemetery in Violet Hill under the direction of Roller-Crouch-McGee Funeral Home of Cave City.
Memorials may be made to Joiner Baptist Church, PO Box 356, Joiner, AR 72350.
