PIERCY, Clint - {from R.F.D. No. 2} Clint Piercy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Piercy, died at his home near Osage Mills Monday. He had been paralyzed for several months.

(from The Bentonville Sun) The 17 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Piercy died at their home at Osage Mills Sunday morning, the 8th, after a lingering illness. The circumstances connected with this splendid young man's death makes it a peculiarly sad affair. He was in bathing with other companions in Osage Creek near his home last August when he dived into the creek head first which was customary sport, his head striking a rock at the bottom. The blow rendered him helpless and he was taken from the creek and carried home by his companions and he has remained in a helpless and paralyzed condition ever since till death relieved him as stated above.
