Jannie Lott, daughter of Lacy Howard and Jane Covey Lott, was born Feb. 25, 1870 at Prairie Grove and departed this life March 2, 1933 at her home on Pea Ridge at the age of 63 years. Miss Lott was united in marriage to E.H. Hall of Pea Ridge Dec. 21, 1901 at Fayetteville, Ark. To this union were born nine children. Two, Bunnie Lou and Grace, have preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband and seven children: Mrs. C.E. Hampton, Mrs. J.A. Kilgo of Pea Ridge; Mrs. R.O. Smith and Mrs. Lee Dunscomb of Little Rock; three sons, Howard Eugene, Will E. and Edward Olin of Pea Ridge, also by three sisters: Mrs. Elizabeth Cann of Prairie Grove; Mrs. Maggie Cass of Amarillo, Teaxas and Mrs. Mae Cox of Dallas and a brother, Will Lott of Gentry.

Mrs. Hall spent a large part of her early life at Siloam Springs. She gave her heart to God while young in life and joined the M.E. Church, South at that place. After marriage she transferred her membership to the Pea Ridge church and lived a devoted Christian life. Mrs. Hall was much loved by her neighbors and many friends who knew her as a faithful wife and devoted mother. She was ever thoughtful of the needy, giving generously and always trying to make some one's path smoother. She was a member of the home demonstration club and a very zealous worker and will be greatly missed by all the members.
