Obituary
Mrs. Roxie E. Cooper, aged 93, of Batson died Monday, March 18, 1991, at Johnson County Regional Hospital.
The widow of John J. Cooper, she was a member of Batson Baptist Church and Peace Chapter No, 535, Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Lou Warren of Clarksville; one son DeLorn Cooper of Batson; four grandchildren, Debbie Taylor of Coal Hill, Mary McQuire of Lamar, Jody Cooper of Clarksville, and Mike Cooper of Batson; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.n. Wednesday, March 20, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Julian Rowton officiating. Burial was in Batson Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ben Woosley, Levi Willis, Howard Clinton, Dwight Stepp, Bill Hughes, and Dencer Willis.
