A funeral for Willis Teegarden of Jordan will be 3PM Thursday at Old Galatia Church with the Rev. Bob Mathis officiating. Visitation will be 5-8PM today at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home. Mr. Teegarden died Monday, April 4, 2005, at Baxter Regional Medical Center. He was 41.
Mr. Teegarden was born April 21, 1963, at Calico Rock to Ernest Dwight and Alma Ray 'Martha' Taylor Teegarden. He married Ginger Loyd Jan 2, 2005, at Norfork. He was a boilermaker and a lifetime resident of Jordan. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved being outside. He was a member of Jordan Baptist Chruch.
He is survived by his wife, Ginger Teegarden of Jordan; one daughter Kayleen Teegarden of Mt. Home; one step daughter, Krystal (Eric) Gunter of Mt. Home; two step sons, Nicholas Loyd of Jordan and Buddy Loyd of Hot Springs; two grandchildren, Austin Blount and Kaydence Gunter; mother Martha Teegarden of Mt. Home; two brothers, Ernest (Judy) Teegarden and Herman (Treva) Teegarden all of Old Joe; one sister, Rudene (Rick) Coy of Mt. Home; and in-laws Richard and Lois Loyd of Hot Springs. He was preceded in death by his father.
Burial will be at Galatia Cemeery with Ralph Farris, Jr., Jeffery Teegarden, Tyrel Teegarden, Kyleb Teegarden, Paul Duncan, Matt Wallis, Kevin Moore and Allen Moore as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to the family.
