HARDY -- Jessie Baird Morton, 89, of Hardy died Wednesday, Dec. 18, at Eastern Ozarks Regional Hospital of Hardy. She was born in Caruthersville, Mo.

Survivors include four daughters, Ann Davis of Olympia, Wash., Deanna Kern of Thomasville, Pa., Marvine Kudis of Darnestown, Md., and Susie Buchanan of Houston, Texas; two sons, Casus Baird of West Plains, Mo., and Lee Baird of Williford; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Marvin Baird and Charles Morton, her parents, four sisters and a brother.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Hardy Ward Street Church of Christ, with Gerald Bolin officiating.
Burial will follow in Opposition Cemetery under the direction of Clary Funeral Home of Mammoth Spring.

Active pallbearers will be Jerry Figgins, Tom Kern, Gary Kudis, Vince Buchanan, Paul Crews and Marvin Baird.
Honorary pallbearers will include Steve Davis, John Baird, Andy Coats and Byron Pfeffer.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the church.

Memorials may be made to the Children's Home of Paragould.
