Oscar F. Luther, 87, of Broken Arrow, OK, died in a Broken Arrow hospital on August 9.
Funeral services were held there in the Church of Christ on August 11. Interment was in Norfork Cemetery, where graveside rites were conducted by Jerry Coley, elder of the Mt. Home Church of Christ. The Leonard Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Luther, a retired farmer, was born at Mt. Home and resided in Broken Arrow since 1940. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Verner L. Luther of Broken Arrow; a daughter, Mrs. Mable I. Schoggen Eads, CO; a sister Fannie Luther of Norfork; three grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Among those attend the Norfork rites were Mr. and Mrs. Verner L. Luther and Mrs. Mary E. Luther of Broken Arrow, Mrs. Mabel I Schoggen and Mrs. Evelyn Smith of Eads, CO; Mrs. Louis Owen and sons Philip and Richard Galena, MO; Miss Carol Luther of San Jose, CA and Mr. and Mrs. T.B. Robertson, Mrs. and Mrs. A.C. Wolf and Mrs. Mattie G. Wylie of Mt. Home.
