Sulphur Springs — Thomas Franklin DeShazer, 48, a butcher and resident of this area, died Thursday in a Fayetteville hospital after an extended illness. Born April 5, 1915 at Hiwasse he had lived here for the past 26 years, was a member of Baptist Church and a veteran of W. W. I. Survivors include the widow, Mary, of the home; two sons, Joyce Lee, with the U. S. Navy and Neil, of the home; three daughters, Rita, Linda and Frances all of the home; three daughters, Rita, Linda and Frances all of the home; three brothers, James of Sulphur Springs, Dorman, Freedom, Calif. and Willis, Akron, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church. Burial will be in Butler Creek Cemetery under direction of Pyeatte Funeral Service.
