October 9, 1899 - January 27, 1970
Tommy Young, 70 of Fordyce died Tuesday in the Dallas County Hospital following a brief illness. He was the father of Tommy Lee Young of Camden. Other survivors include his wife and four other sons, Cleburn Young of San Diego, Calif., Vernon Young and Eugene Young of Fordyce and Margene Young of Fredericktown, Mo.; 14 grandchildren and 11 great, grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church in Fordyce. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery by Benton Funeral Service. (Camden News - January 28, 1970)
