Died May 10, 1920, Baxter County, Arkansas.
Son of Phillip & Harriet Blakley Blevins.
Married Louisa Josephine "Josie" Parks, December 25, 1883, Baxter County, Arkansas.
John Russell Blevins
John Russell Blevins was born in 1855 at Meigs County, Tenn. On Dec. 25, 1883, he married Louisa Josephine "Josie" Parks, daughter of James Harvey and Sarah (Rogers) Parks. John bought land and a house just southeast of Mountain Home where they made their home. He was known as one of the best farmers in Baxter County and he was also an outstanding citizen. They had four children. John died May 10, 1920 after suffering with a stroke. He was buried at Oakgrove Cemetery.
