Obituary
Graveside services for Dolph Dilday of Gentry will be held at 2PM today at the Burnt Schoolhouse Cemetery with the Rev. Waymon Hollis officiating.
Mr. Dilday died Friday (Oct 2, 1992) at the Sale Memorial Hospital at Neosho, MO. He was 91.
A self-employed carpenter, Mr. Dilday was formerly of Advance. He was born Sep 7, 1901, in Missouri to the late Charles and Elva Henson Dilday. He and the former Velma Beavers were married Jun 12, 1929, at Advance. Mrs. Dilday survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Max Dilday of California; a daughter and son-in-lay, Daphne and Tex Tyler of Gentry; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by both parents; a son, Phil Dilday; one brother and one sister.
Mr. Dilday was a member of the Stella Masonic Lodge 538 AF&AM and the Stella Church of Christ.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
