The Baxter Bulletin, Mountain Home, Arkansas, December 14, 1972:
Miss Alberta L. Schaber, 28, of Shawnee Mission, KS, formerly of Baxter County, died last Friday at an Osawatomie, KS hospital.
The funeral service was conducted Tuesday at the McClure Chapel with Rev. Opie Hargrave of Mountain Home officiating. Interment was in the Oak Grove Cemetery, south of here, under the direction of the McClure Service.
Miss Schaber was born March 18, 1944 in Mountain Home, the daughter of Albert F. and Bonnie Vickrey Schaber. A Methodist, she lived here until 1952.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Bonnie V. Schaber of Shawnee Mission and two brothers, Robert Schaber of Wichita, KS and Fred Schaber of Shawnee Mission.
