Rev. Frank Story, 77, of Bella Vista, died May 22 at Bates Memorial Hospital.

Born August 24, 1903, in Bell County, Texas, he was the son of John Milton and Beulah Bruce Story. He was a retired Methodist minister from the North Arkansas Conference. He served as a minister 38 years in Texas and Arkansas, retiring in 1967 and continuing as a supply minister for northwest Arkansas. He was a 32nd Degree Mason.

Survivors are three sons, Howard Story of Godley, Texas, Douglas Story of New Orleans, and Milton Story of Rogers; two daughters, Mrs. Florene Shanks of Odessa, Texas, and Mrs. Flo Dickinson of Decatur; four brothers, Bill Story of Maysville, Bruce Story of Seminole, Texas, Grady Story of Jay, Okla., and J.M. Story of Plains, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Lucie Beams of Odessa, Texas, and Mrs. Georgia McCullough of Brownfield, Texas; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral was May 26 at the United Methodist Church of Bella Vista, with. Rev. Max Whitfield, district superintendent William R. Connell and Rev. Vernon W. Becker officiating. Burial was in Falling Springs Cemetery west of Decatur. Arrangements were under direction of Burns Funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church building fund at Bella Vista.
