COLLINS, W.B. - W.B. Collins died at his home near Highfill at five o'clock Sunday morning after an illness of several months. He was a loved and well respected citizen, having spent a greater part of his life in this county. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife and six children and several grandchildren and great grandchildren, besides a large circle of friends. Rev. J.L. Chastain conducted the funeral service at the Baptist church at one o'clock Monday after which he was tenderly laid to rest in the Douglas cemetery to await the resurrection. He lived a faithful and consistent Christian life, having been a minister of the gospel for many years.
