PINE BLUFF — Herman Lee Hale, 68, of Pine Bluff died Dec. 6, 2006, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. He was born April 6, 1938, in West Fork to Samuel Daniel and Esther Estella Burris Hale. He was an Air Force and Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a welder and worked on boxcars and barges.

Survivors include one son, Douglas Allan Lee; one daughter, Sandra Lee Hale; two brothers, Walter Hale of Topeka, Kan., James Hale of West Fork; two sisters, Rosie Brown of Riverside, Calif., Bonnie Martin of West Fork and two grandchildren.

Private family services will be held.

Cremation arrangements are by Beard's Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville, online at www.beardsfuneralchapel.com.
