ROGERS — A Pea Ridge man died Thursday from injuries stemming from an Aug. 19 vehicle accident.

Ralph W. Ward, 69, of 142 Petton St. in Pea Ridge was Westbound on Arkansas 72 at It'll Do Road when he negotiated a curve, lost control of his 1995 Toyota, struck a power pole and overturned, according to an Arkansas State Police report.

Ward was transported to Cox Hospital South in Springfield, Mo., and died Thursday night. He was the only person injured in the accident. The man's exact injuries are unknown.

Ward was not wearing a seat belt when the accident occurred, the report said.
