Luther R. Ward, 57, of Bentonville, died Saturday, April 27, at Bates Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 29, 1934, at Alco to Marion and Walsa Passmore Ward. He was a construction worker on underground water lines. He moved to this area in 1958 from Alco and on Sept.3, 1960, he married Brenda Sanders.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda; his parents, Marion and Walsa Ward of Lowell; two brothers, Leonard Ward of Bentonville and Dale Ward of Springdale.
Graveside service is set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bentonville Cemetery with Scott Griffith officiating. Visitation is to be 5-8 p.m. Monday at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville.
