Marriage:
Rocky Gene Sherrell son of Shelby Sherrell and Lou (Jackson) Sherrell. Rocky Gene Sherrell died from an automobile accident near Calico Rock, Arkansas.
Rocky Gene Sherrell, 41, of Ash Flat died Dec. 18, 2002, in Bandmill.
Born Feb. 10, 1961, in Batesville, he was the son of Shelby and Lou Jackson Sherrell.
He was a carpenter. He was a member of Myron Community Church and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his parents of Myron; two daughters' Roxanne LaDawn Sherrell of Newark, and Heather Jo Sherrell of Center; and a sister, Tangi LaDawn Sowell of Dallas. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Stella Gleghorn.
The funeral was Dec. 21 at Roman and Billy Howard Memorial Chapel with Bobby Cannon officiating.
Interment followed in Bates Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Steve Finley, Russell Sherrell, Randy Sherrell, Tony Watson, Tony Moser and Jim McLaughlin.
Arrangements were under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home of Melbourne.
