The Paris News, October 1998 - MARIANNA, ARKANSAS - John William McBride, Sr., 61, of Marianna, Arkansas died Friday, Oct. 2, 1998, in Baptist Hospital in Forrest City, Arkansas. Funeral services are to be at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, in Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna. Burial will follow in Marianna Memorial Park.
Mr. McBride was born Feb. 9, 1937, in Marianna to John Simon and Mary Lou Spain McBride. He was employed by Tri-County Farmers Co-op.
Mr. McBride is survived by the mother of his children, Annette Oswald; a daughter, Robin McBride; two sons, Rus McBride and John William McBride, Jr.; a sister, Gloria Walters; three brothers, Curtis McBride, Earl McBride and Allen McBride; two grandsons, Matthew McBride and John Russell McBride.
