Wallace E. Greenhaw, 95 of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014.

He was born in Marianna, AR to the late W.E. Greenhaw, Sr. and Huldah Babcock.

Wallace was preceded in death by his parents; wife Claire Fly Greenhaw; and two sisters, Huldah and Helen.Wallace served in WWII, Korean Conflict and State side, he was a MP in St Louis and also guarded troop trains.

He was part of the "Greatest Generation" surviving the "Great Depression," war and childhood illnesses. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, movies, photography and taking rides.He attended Marianna First United Methodist Church and Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church.He retired after 30 years of service with Schering-Plough.

He played Trumpet in the High School Band also sang in a Quartet. Wallace was a Tennis Champion at ASU. He was in the TKE Fraternity at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree with a major in Psychology, He was also a member of the American Legion.

After her retired, he did volunteer work at the Food Pantry at Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church.He was married to his wife Claire and faithfully devoted to her for 40 years and was a devoted father who spent lots of time with the family.

He is survived by his twin sons, Sid and Ed Greenhaw and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church with Reverend Rich Mitchell officiating.

Interment will follow at Marianna Memorial Park in Marianna, AR.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday, February 21, 2014 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd. North Little Rock, AR 72116 (501-791-7400).A special thanks to Hospice Home Care, Visiting Angels, Sherwood Rehab, Lori Rousch nurse and owner of Rousch Geriatric Care, LLC for assistance with our dad's care. We also thank Peggy Boyce and her family for their friendship and all their special care and comfort at this time.
