HIGHFILL — William Edward Brust, 90, of Highfill died Dec. 27, 2006, at Northwest Medical Center-Bentonville. He was born Nov. 17, 1916, in Lonoke to Lawrence and Rosa Mae Brust. He served during World War II as a radio/communications specialist. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Rogers for many years. He enjoyed fishing, camping and gardening.
Survivors include four sons, Raymond Brust and wife Marva of Bella Vista, Ronald Brust and wife Ginger of Girald, Kan., Larry Brust of Rogers, Mike Brust and wife Jamie of Rogers; three daughters, Brenda Erwin and husband Clyde of Newton, Kan., Karen Murphy and husband Henry of Pea Ridge, Mary George and husband John of Springdale; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and Janie Abshier of the home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers with the Rev. Tommy Henson officiating.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Little Flock Cemetery.
