Gene Melton, age 79, of Yellville, Arkansas died Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at his home. He was born January 30, 1930 in Yellville, Arkansas to Ernie Graden and Biffel Carson Melton.
Survivors include his wife Glenda Thompson Melton of the home; sons, Marcus Melton and wife Trish of Gassville, AR and Jon Melton and wife Val of Yellville, AR; sister, Bonnie Smith of Mountain Home, AR; grandchildren, Dalton Melton, Melissa Jones, Krista Hunter, and Aaron Mitchell; and five great-grandchildren, Hayden, Kierna, Berkley, Hayley, and Austin.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Lucille, Juanita, Wandy Sue and Brother, E G
Pallbearers were Skylar Gibson, Hank Riddle, Ronnie Fish, Ed Welch, Steve H. Jones and Jerry Killebrew.
