Double stone with Joyce Campbell Floyd
Jimmy Glen “Jim” Floyd Sr., 64, of Swifton died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, in Russellville. He was born Jan. 21, 1940, son of the late James Earnest and Golda Marie Bishop Floyd, and a member of the Swifton High School Class of 1959 and Swifton Methodist Church. He was a maintenance manager for Wal-Mart Logistics until his retirement in October 2004. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Campbell Floyd; two sons, Jabo Floyd and wife, Faith, of Bentonville and Ricky Floyd and wife, Janice, of Russellville; two brothers, Billy Floyd of Shreveport, La., and Gene Floyd of Swifton; two sisters, Ann Howard of Birmingham, Ala., and Carolyn Cunningham of Walnut Ridge; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home. Burial will be in Swifton Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
