WEST, Minnie - (from The Prairie Grove Globe) Mrs. Minnie West, consort of J.J. West of this place, died on Friday, Sept. 5, 1902 of congestion at the age of 34 years. The deceased was a true wife, a loving mother and an exemplary christian woman. She was a consistent member of the Methodist church. She leaves a husband and a sweet little babe six months old and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her death. The remains were interred in the Prairie Grove cemetery Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock in the presence of a large crowd of relatives and friends. Rev. T.A. Martin, her pastor, conducted the services.
