BERRY, W.E. - W.E. Berry died at his home in Springdale Tuesday, April 7, aged 70 years, 5 months and 26 days. Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church Wednesday morning by the pastor, Rev. Smith, after which the remains were laid to rest in Bluff cemetery. Deceased came to Springdale from Texas some fifteen years ago and since that time has resided here. He lived an upright life, was a loyal friend and good citizen, loved by his neighbors, honored and esteemed by all who knew him. His last illness was of several months duration and his death, though not entirely unexpected, was a sad blow to his loving relatives and friends. The News extends heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved ones.
