Earnest L. Burwell, 68, Rogers, died Sept. 11 in Rogers Memorial Hospital. Born July 26, 1919, in Bunch, Okla., he was the son of Dave Burwell and Pearl Holt Burwell, was a member of the Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include two sons, Curtiss Burwell, Bentonville, and Roy E. Burwell, Derby, Kan.; two daughters, Mrs. Linda Tunnel, Derby, and Miss Laura L. Burwell, Mobile, Ala.; one stepson, Arthur Ray Henderson, Golden, Colo., one stepdaughter, LaTrica Baxter, Juneau, Alaska; two brothers, David E. Burwell, Cave Springs, and Orville W. Burwell, Bentonville, Mrs. Lucille Stacey, Caldwell, Idaho, and Mrs. Maudie Burssen, Washington; 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Callison Chapel, with Rev. George Clay officiating. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery under the direction of Callison Funeral Home of Rogers.
