BELLA VISTA — Dayton Chandler Baldwin Jr., 79, of Bella Vista died March 25, 2002, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born May 12, 1922, in Waupaca, Wis., to Dayton Chandler Baldwin Sr. and Ethel Ann Van Sistine Baldwin. He moved to Bella Vista in 1985 from Moorhead, Minn. He was a member of the Bella Vista Assembly of God. He was a graduate of the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, N.D., and served in the Merchant Marines during World War II. His wife, Jayne Baldwin, died April 30, 1992.
Survivors include one son, Dayton Baldwin III of Las Vegas, Nev.; one brother, William Baldwin of Hudson, Wis.; one sister, Mary Crist of San Dimas, Calif.; two grandchildren, Joseph Almeida and Melissa Oakley, both of Las Vegas.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bella Vista Funeral Home with Jack Glass officiating.
Burial will to in Bella Vista Cemetery.
