Mr. Watkins was devoted to his family and was always concerned about their well being. He told his daughter just before his death that he worried about them, but he knew that they would be okay. He was a John Deere mechanic for many years at the Mixon & Webb John Deere Dealership in Marianna, Arkansas before his retirement in 1986. He was Preceded in death by his parents, Elmer & Cora Watkins, three of his seven children, Peggy Louise Watkins, Boyce Ray Watkins, and Roger Dale Watkins.
