Charles W. (Doc) Finley, aged 81, of Route 2, Mt. Home died Saturday in a local hospital after an illness of several weeks. Funeral services were conducted at 2PM Tuesday in the Fairview Methodist Church with Rev. Gerald Martin officiating.
Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Finley, a life time resident of Baxter Count, was born on February 1, 1878, the son of the late Charlie Finley, SR. and Betty Junkin Finley.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Nezia Mildred Finley of the home and two sisters, Mrs. Effie Raymond of Wentworth, MO and Mrs. Oda Smith of Route 2, Mt. Home.
Pallbearers were Dow Newman, Van Knight, Marion Buchanan, Dee Jackson, Brewer Robertson and Bryan Henley.
