Charlie L. Lovelady, 83, a retired farmer of the Buford community, Route 2, Mt. Home, died Tuesday of last week at North Little Rock.
The son of Joe and Bettie Knight Lovelady, he was born June 4, 1889, at Buford and was a lifetime resident of the area. His wife, Mrs. Cornelia Pearl Lovelady, died on Nov 25, 1963.
Survivors include three sons, Willard of Visalia, CA, Plas B. of Mt. Home and Charlie Lynn Lovelady of Van Buren; two daughers, Mrs. Linton Brown of North Little Rock and Mrs. Cleo White of Jonesboro; 11 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service was conducted Thursday at the McClure Chapel with Rev Harold Ray of Jonesboro officiating. Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery at Buford, under the direction the McClure Service.
Pallbearers were Joe Stancil, Clinton Stancil, H.H. (the rest is unreadable.)
