Services for Leonard Leon Bolding of Mt. Home will be at 2PM Saturday at Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Louis Stephens officiating. Mr. Bolding died Wednesday (Sep 17, 1997) at Buford. He was 59.
Visitation will be from noon-9PM at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-8PM. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery at Buford with Billy Davis, Bob Harrison, Mike Harrison, Jerry Melton, Lonnie Bagwell and David Cory serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Marvin Bolding, Guy Bolding and Allen Bolding.
An area native Mr. Bolding was born Feb 6, 1938, at Cartney, a son of Bernice Erwin Bolding and the late Loyd Bolding. He and the former Edith Lee were married March 15, 1984, at Buford. Mr. Bolding was a river guide and enjoyed fishing, hunting and reading Western novel. He served in the National Guard.
He is survived by is wife, Edith Bolding of the home; his mother Bernice Bolding of Buford; a son, Ronald Bolding a wife, Jeanne, of Mt. Home; a sister, Marion DeCavele of Kansas City, KS; tow stepsons, Larry and Terry Streight, both of Mt. Home; two grandchildren, Christian and Jennifer Bolding Both of Buford; a nephew Craig DeCavele of Kansas City, KS. He was preceded in death by his father.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.
