Mrs. A.Y. Tevebaugh died Tuesday afternoon at the family home about a mile and a quarter north of Fairmount after an illness lasting nearly a week. Mrs. Tevebaugh, nee Martha Wynn, was born in Izard Co. Ark. Dec. 8, 1837. She was married to Mr. Tevebaugh in September 1864. To this union were born thirteen children, eleven of whom are still living, to wit: Messrs. Howard, Will, James, Dock and Buckalew Tevebaugh and Mesdames Lou Walker, Malinda Stone, Ella Stinnet, Minnie Talbert, Lillie Davis and Gertie Hogan. Besides her husband and children she leaves one brother and two sisters to mourn her departure. She joined a church of the Baptist faith at the age of fourteen and during her last illness gave good evidences of Christian faith. Her remains were laid to rest in the Fairmount cemetery Wednesday afternoon with religious services conducted by Eld. E. J. Reynolds.
