Earl E. Areman, 95, 620 W. Grove Ave., Springdale, died Dec. 20 in Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born June 4, 1880, at Smithland, Iowa, he was the son of Adam J. and Orilla Harding Areman, the widower of Minnie Gambs Areman and a retired farmer.

Survivors include one son, Harold G. Areman, Lee's Summit, Mo.; one daughter, Mrs. James L. Sigmon, Springdale; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held today at 2 p.m. in Sisco Chapel with the Rev. Bob Batchelder and William Neptune officiating. Burial was in Hickory Creek Cemetery under the direction of Sisco.

Pallbearers were James L. Sigmon Jr., Robert G. Sigmon, James E. Sigmon, DeLain Areman, Edward Fletcher, Bill Dail and Harold Sigmon.

Springdale - Mrs. Minnie Florence Areman, 84, of Route 5, Springdale, died yesterday at her home. She was born Aug. 31, 1881 at Smithland, Iowa.

Survivors are her husband, Earl E. Areman of the home; two sons, Harold of Lees Summit, Mo. and Wayne of Hagarman, Idaho; one daughter Mrs. James L. Sigmon of Springdale; one sister, Mrs. Ella Farquhar of Springdale; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Callison Sisco Chapel with burial in Hickory Creek Cemetery.
