Died Mountain Home, Baxter County, Arkansas.
Son of George and Lillian Jones Hanna.
Married Winifred Geraldine Hurst, January 16, 1951, Quartzsite, Riverside County, California.

Charles Richard Hanna of Norfork died Wednesday (Sep 6, 1995) at Baxter County Regional Hospital. He was 78.
Mr. Hanna was born March 1, 1917, at Santa Barbara, CA to George and Lillian Jones Hanna. He married Winifred G. Hurst Jan 16, 1951, at Quartz Site, CA and was a California Highway Patrol motorcycle officer.
Mr. Hanna moved to Norfork for Santa Barbara 13 years ago. He was a member of the Galatia Assembly of God Church, the Norfork City Coucil and the board of review for Baxter County Sheriff's Office. He was a Baxter County Sheriff's Department reserve deputy and a bigpiper. He served with the Merchant Marines during World War II and the Vietnam War.
Mr. Hanna was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his wife, Winifred Hanna of Norfork.
Visitation will be 5-8Pm today at Kriby Funeral Home in Mt. Home. Services will be 2PM Saturday at Galatia Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Rex Middleton officiating.
Pallbearers will be Eric Faulkner, Frank Mounce, Sid Pickens, Bill Nash, Pat Thompson and Gary Porter.
Burial will be in the Galatia Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Galatia Assembly of God Church in Norfork.
