FAYETTEVILE — Clifford Eugene Drymon, 73, of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015, at the Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark.

He was born on August 18, 1941 in Lowell, Ark., a son of Enoch Avery Drymon and Selena (Johns) Drymon. Clifford served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and later worked in security.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his children at Fly Gap. He was an active member of the Springdale Moose Lodge 877.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alice Drymon, the mother of his children; a son, Clifford Drymon, Jr.; one brother, Caroll Drymon; and a sister, Virginia Schader.

Clifford is survived by his wife, Sue Drymon of the home; his seven children, Rosemary "Lavern" Drymon, Tommy Drymon of Flordia, Allen Drymon of Lowell, Ark., Ellie Becker and husband Cliff of Popular Bluff, Mo., James Drymon and wife Cheryl of Highfill, Ark., Steven Drymon of Springdale, Ark., and Jason Drymon of Goshen, Ark.; one step-son, Brent Harris of Springdale, Ark.; 16 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers, Chester Drymon and wife Rose of Pleasure Heights, Ark., Cecil "Blackie" Drymon of Springdale, Ark. and Clinton Dale Drymon of Monte Ne, Ark.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2015, 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale. Graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at the Frisco Springs Cemetery in Lowell, Ark. To sign the online guest book, visit www.Backstrom-Pyeatte.com.

LOWELL — Alice McGarrah Drymon, 60, of Lowell died Jan. 18, 2004, at Springdale. She was born July 7, 1943, in Lowell to Columbus and Martha Mounce McGarrah. She retired from Emerson Electric. She was a member of New Hope Assembly of God.

Survivors include her husband, Clifford Drymon of the home, to whom she was married Dec. 5, 1965; four sons, Allen Drymon of Pine Bluff; James Drymon of Highfill, Steven Drymon of Gentry and Jason Drymon of Lowell; one daughter, Ellen Becker of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; her mother of Lowell; one brother, Carl McGarrah of Lowell; one sister, Lois Fanning of Lowell; 10 grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale. Burial will be in Frisco Springs Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. The family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m.
