FREEMAN, Mrs. Geo. W. {YOUNG} - Mrs. Geo. W. Freeman died at the home of her son, E.C. Freeman, at Muskogee, Okla. on Saturday, July 29th, 1911 at 2:07 o'clock p.m. in the seventy-ninth year of her age. Mrs. Freeman was born at Franklin, Ind. on February 22nd, 1833. In 1836 she moved with her parents to Vinton, Iowa where she remained until the fall of 1885 when she, with her husband and children, moved to Bentonville, Ark. where she had made her home ever since. Mrs. Freeman was for many years a faithful member of the Presbyterian Church. She was a good, christian woman, a kind considerate neighbor loved by all with whom she was associated. She leaves two sons, F.T. Freeman of Hugo, Okla. and E.C. Freeman of Muskogee, Okla. and is survived by two brothers, R.Y. and B.D. Young, both of whom are living in Iowa. Her husband, Geo. W. Freeman, passed away three years ago last April. The remains of this good woman were brought to this city on the evening train last Sunday and on Monday morning at 9 o'clock a short, simple service was held at the Presbyterian Church after which the body was laid to rest in the City Cemetery beside her husband. Thus ended a beautiful life and one that was a blessing to the world. We join with the many friends of the family in extending sympathy to the bereaved sons in the loss of that which cannot ever be replaced - a kind, loving, christian mother.
