*Obituary

William Loyd Gillihan, age 77, of Melbourne died Sunday, November 19, 1995 at Baxter County Regional Hospital in Mtn. Home, AR. He was born April 4, 1918 at Twin Creek, AR, the son of Alex and Emma Gillihan. He was a retired carpenter. Survivors include two daughters, Ouida Knapp and Loleta Hill, both of Red Oak, TX; one son, Wayne Gillihan of Red Oak, TX; one sister, June Ramsey of Henderson; one brother, Adrian Gillihan of Springdale, AR; 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral service and burial were Tues., Nov. 21, beginning at 2 p.m. at Combs Cemetery in Melbourne with Bro. Chuck Crow officiating. Arrangements were directed by Howard Funeral Home of Melbourne. Pallbearers were; Jim Muncy, Bob Ramsey, Larry Gillihan, Gerald Gillihan, Charles Gillihan, and Doy Gillihan.
